David A. ‘Hank’ Rogers CBO/CFM

Director of Community Development

As Director of Community Development, Building Official, Floodplain Administrator and Fire Marshall, I am responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all private Development within the City of D’Iberville. A Certified Building Official and Certified Flood Plain Manager, I have over 40 years in the construction industry, 26 years of which were in the private sector; the last 14 years as a Code Enforcement Official. Christy Burns

Building Permit Clerk/Administrative Assistant

As the Building Permit Clerk, Christy receives all building plans submitted for land development, construction and demolition projects within the city and schedules them for review. She collects permit fees, prints the permits and that’s when the project begins. While a project is under construction she schedules building inspections for code compliance while accumulating much needed documentation. Vicki Watkins

CRS Coordinator

As CRS Coordinator for the Building Department, Vicki performs the role of Community Rating System coordinator for the City of D’Iberville’s CRS Program. As a CRS 6 Community, the citizens of D’Iberville receive a 10-20% discount on flood insurance, depending on the location of their property. Michael York

Code Enforcement Officer

Michael is a second generation construction journeyman. His primary responsibility for the City of D’Iberville  is Code Enforcement inspection and administration.  Code Enforcement is  focused on the maintenance and upkeep of privately owned property. Ensuring that overgrown lots, dilapidated structures, trash, debris, white goods and other nuisances are abated as quickly as State law permits, Michael processes all citizens complaints and notifies the offenders. Michael is also a Residential Housing Inspector when not busy with Code Enforcement. George F. Rogers, III

Building Inspector

George (aka Frankie) is also a third generation construction journeyman from D’Iberville; his grandfather and father were both Master carpenters. As a Building Inspector for the City of D’Iberville, George’s primary responsibilities are inspecting Commercial, Residential and Industrial structures for Code compliance. With over 25 years as a Master Electrician, much of it in heavy Commercial and Industrial mechanical/electrical applications for DuPont, George brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the City of D’Iberville.
