Instructions for obtaining a Mobile Home Permit
The following items are required in order to issue a Mobile Home Permit:
1. Your Mobile Home Registration Certificate, if your Mobile Home is NOT registered in Harrison County, Please take your bill of sale on the Mobile Home to the Tax Assessor’s Office located in the Harrison County Court House.
2. If you are in a Mobile Home Park, we will need your lot number & address. ALL connections to the Mobile Home MUST be made by a D’Iberville licensed contractor; they are responsible for the permits and for scheduling the required inspections.
3. To connect to D’Iberville water & sewer, you MUST apply for your application with the Water & Sewer Department located within the Main Lobby of City Hall.
4. If you are on private property, a deed or tax receipt of the land where you are located is required. If the property is located within or near a Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), a high flood risk area, THEN a survey from a MS registered engineer or land surveyor is required. On the survey, the engineer or land surveyor MUST state the zone(s), FIRM map number, date of the FIRM, and the required elevation. The ground elevations at the proposed placement area of the Mobile Home are also required.
NOTE: Additional information WILL be required once the Mobile Home is established on the property if the property is within a SFHA.
The permit fee for a Mobile Home within a Mobile Home Park or on private property is $25.00
