The Parks & Recreation Department provides the following services to the city:
- maintains the city’s parks, recreation center, sports complex, City Hall, veteran’s park, Rudy Moran park, library, Fountain Pier, town clock and all public road-easements and ditches
- staff provides vital services in all city-sponsored events
- manages recreational sports at Bobby Eleuterius Complex including: amateur and semi-pro football, soccer, basketball, baseball, fast-& slow-pitch softball, high school baseball and softball & coming this Spring a new tennis program
- continues to maintain the landscaping around I-110 and expanded its beautification work to the I-10 interchange
