Town Green & Visitor’s Center
The City’s Town Green and Visitor’s Center is an important part of it’s revitalization plans.
Status: The Contract for the Visitor’s Center was awarded to FNP Contractors and the foundation is currently under construction.
Funded in part by the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA).

An architectural rendering of the Visitor’s Center designed by Ely, Guild & Hardy.
The finished building will be 5,000 square feet and will house a small museum, welcome center and offices for civic organizations.
The Town Green is 14 acres of property that used to be the site of school. The City worked with the Harrison County Superintendent and School Board to acquire the land and use it for educational and cultural purposes.
