The City of D’Iberville - Building Division is hosting a BUILDING CODE FORUM for all Contractors working or planning to work within the City of D’Iberville.
The primary focus of the forum will be to discuss Building Code Compliance Requirements within the City of D’Iberville.
Topics will include…
- Licensing and Insurance fundamentals
- The minimum requirements for submitting an application for a permit
- Inspection procedures & requirements
- Subcontractor/tradesmen oversight
- Requesting and receiving a Certificate of Occupancy
- Minimum requirements for Hurricane Resistant Construction
- Floodplain Management and Erosion Control responsibilities
There will be ample time set aside for a question and answer session.
