Cruisin’ Citations a big hit!
The city’s Cruisin’ Citations were a big hit! By all accounts the Cruisers loved them. People obviously enjoyed seeing the classic police car in the streets as it turned heads wherever it went. Reportedly, some cruisers thought they were getting real tickets until our officers showed them the coupons. Given their experiences in other towns they were pleasantly surprised and relieved when they realized that the officers were giving them a gift instead of a fine. We enjoyed having the Cruisers in our town and we look forward to next year when we can do it all again.

D’Iberville Police Chief Wayne Payne got into the game Thursday, issuing a Crusin’ Citation to some classic car owners at D’Iberville’s Civic Complex, where dozens of cars were parked. He was especially eager to give the owner of a 1971 Jaguar a ticket, Biloxi Police Chief Bruce Dunagan.
