Council Takes First Step Towards a 2% Tax
On Wednesday, March 9 at a special-called City Council meeting the D’Iberville City Council approved the following resolution:
Resolution of the Mayor and Council of the City of D’Iberville, Mississippi, requesting that the legislature approve a local and private bill to authorize the governing authorities to levy a tax on the gross receipts of restaurants, bars and hotel stays and related purposes.
