The Building Department staff is dedicated to aiding you in your Development project. Our pledge is to help you find a solution, whenever possible, to completing your construction project in a timely manner, while assuring the highest standards of Building Code compliance.

The Mayor and City Council of D’Iberville, in their ongoing efforts to improve the quality of life for all citizens, have placed great emphasis on the beautification of our City. The maintenance of privately held properties is part of that ongoing effort. It is the role of the Code Enforcement Division to enforce the rules and regulations adopted in support of maintaining a high standard of property maintenance.
If you witness any violation of the City of D’Iberville’s Property Maintenance Code, we encourage you to contact our offices. Your name will remain anonymous and your information private. If you wish, you may complete a Code Enforcement complaint form online using the button below.
The City of D’Iberville enforces the 2018 International Code Conference’s Suite of Codes: International Building Code • International Residential Code • International Property Maintenance Code • International Plumbing Code • International Fuel Gas Code • International Mechanical Code • International Fire Prevention Code • International Pool and Spa Code • 2018 International Energy Conservation Code • 2008 ICC 600-2018 Standard For Residential Construction In High-Wind Regions • 2017 National Electrical Code
These provide prescriptive means and methods for wind resistance construction to speeds of up to 160 miles per hour, for a three-second gust. Compliance is mandatory and only Contractors, licensed in accordance with State and local statutes, shall be allowed to make application for and receive permits.
