Gerald Burdine is a lifelong resident of D’Iberville and is proud to say he would not live anywhere else. Gerald graduated from D’Iberville High School in 1976. Gerald worked for Ingalls Shipbuilding in Department 17 for over thirty years until his retirement in 2018.
Gerald has been married for 31 years to Susan Puzz Burdine, also a lifelong resident of D’Iberville. Together, they have three children, Holley, Dawn, and Brett, and three beautiful grandchildren Natalie, Ethan, and Gatlin. Gerald and Susan love spending quality time with family and friends and Gerald also enjoys playing golf and watching college football, especially when his favorite team, Alabama is playing.
Gerald is an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and has been a member of the High School Activity Association for over 31 years as a football official. Gerald served on the D’Iberville Planning Commission for 6 years until he ran for City Council and looks forward to continuing his public service as Ward 4 City Councilman. Gerald is eager to represent, not only his ward but his hometown community. Gerald is proud to be a Councilman in a little city that packs a big punch!
