Biography
Chief Wayne Payne is a native and life-long resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He and his wife Paula Huguet Payne were married in 1974 and are the parents of two sons, Wayne Payne II and Joey Payne, both pursuing careers in law enforcement. The Paynes have three grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Kimberly and Haily Payne.
After accepting the position of Police Chief in October of 2007 Payne built the D’Iberville Police Force from the ground up.
